The 1Fb80.491 in use at Metro Shanghai
The
single-arm pantograph 1Fb80.491, used at Metro Shanghai,
is designed for high standstill-currents. For this purpose it is equipped
with a
collector head with 4 carbon contact strips which are
cushioned in pairs. By this standstill-currents of 360 A can be realised.
The pantograph
is raised to the overhead line by means of spring tension
and it is lowered to lowest position by means of a spring force-cylinder.
Pantograph for busses 1Fb80.67 Duobus
The “Duo-Bus” can
be operated by means of overhead-line energy as well as on bord-energy.
The single-arm pantograph 1Fb80.67 provides the power supply from the
overhead line. The pantograph is equipped with an air bellow-drive which
supersedes a tension spring for raising to the overhead line. With this
pantograph a max. raising height of 3950 mm was realised.

A special application range for pantographs is the open-cast
mining. Here, pantographs in especially robust version for very high
currents and mechanical loads are required.
The Fb86.21 in use on working devices
Stemmann-Technik GmbH equips special vehicles with pantographs
for measuring purposes. These special pantographs are
not designed for the power supply of the measuring vehicles but for the
measuring of the
overhead line. They can measure the altitude of the
overhead line as well as the horizontal laying (zigzag-course).
