Special features of the slipring assembly
The places of application of this slipring assembly type are round reamers in purification plants. The power- and data-transfer from the stationary switchgears and control systems to the drives on the rotating round reamer bridge is effected by the slipring assembly.
The slipring assembly has an inner protection tube with a diameter of 110 mm. By this the central leading through of hoses or tubes for the returning of mud is made possible.
The sliprings are pre-wired up to terminals in the slipring assembly housing, whereby an easy installation is made possible. The slipring assembly has a high grade corrosion protection and a thermostatically regulated heater to avoid the formation of condensed water.
The outer coating is separated in to the 2 x 180?segments and be removed completely. By this an optimal access to the slipring assembly for installation- and maintenance works is ensured.
