Projects in Wind power plants
High
rotational speeds, small production sizes, here particularly an optimal
proportion of possible execution and outer diameter and a large vibration
stability are the characteristics of cast slipring assemblies. Cast slipring
assemblies are available as carbon- or gold-spring wire version. High
integration at smaller production sizes distinguish the slipring assemblies
with gold-spring wire brushes. Typical applications are machine tools,
rope-production machines and wind power plants.
Cast slipring assemblies, 30 ways – gold-spring wire version
Three
of the contact paths for signal transmission are designed for a serial
connection with interface RS485. The cables are laid onto plugs at the
slipring assembly. Corresponding terminals are intended for this at the
stator of the slipring assembly. The slipring assemblies are designed
for ambient temperatures of – 20 °C to + 50 °C as well
as a rotational speed of 0 to 30 rpm. The power- as well as the signal
part have cast slip assemblies. The transmission of the power part is
realised by means of contact carbons. The signal part is a gold-spring
wire version.
Slipring assembly combinations of carbon- and gold-spring wire version
The
cast slipring assembly in gold-spring wire version is designed for ambient
temperatures of – 20 °C to + 50 °C. The service life of
the contact elements is around fifty million turns.
