frost®-ground contacts for power-refeeding are used for all railway vehicles to prevent the current-backflow via the wheel set-roller bearings and to avoid damages to the bearing. The ground contacts are installed at the axles at the bogie of the railway vehicles – the current-backflow is effected via special carbons and the wheel rim into the rail.
